Don Cole, D.Min, LPC, LMFT
Is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Marriage & Family Counselor in the state of Texas and an approved LPC & LMFT Supervisor. He received his doctorate in ministry with a specialization in psychotherapy from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary in 1993. He has 25 years of experience working with individuals and couples in various capacities including marital therapy, affair recovery, depression, anxiety, trauma recovery, parenting, and personality disorders.
Dr. Cole is the Clinical Director for the Gottman Institute. As a Certified Gottman Method Couples’ Therapist and a member of the Gottman Relationship Institute and a master trainer in Gottman Method Therapy, he teaches all levels of the Gottman Method Certification Program. He is also a Clinical Member of the American Association of Marital and Family Therapists.
Dr. Cole is an experienced public speaker and seminar leader and has held workshops on a variety of topics. He is also an ordained Lutheran Pastor through the ELCA.

She received her Master’s degree in Educational Psychology with a specialization in Counseling Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin in 1994. She has over 15 years of experience working with individuals and couples on a wide range of issues including marital therapy, affair recovery, depression, anxiety, sexual abuse, eating disorders, parenting, trauma recovery, divorce recovery, and personality disorders. Carrie has also provided seminars on relationships, parenting and divorce recovery.
Ms. Cole is the Director of Research for the Gottman Institute. As a Certified Gottman Method Couples’ Therapist and a master trainer in Gottman Method Therapy, she teaches all levels of the Gottman Method Certification Program.
Yasman Mostajeran, M.A., LMFT-A
is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Associate in the state of Texas. After graduating from the University of Houston, she dedicated a year to psychological research. She then went on to pursue her master’s at the University of Houston-Clear Lake where she studied Marriage and Family Therapy. Yasman now dedicates her time as a therapist to individuals, couples, and families experiencing a wide array of psychological and relational challenges utilizing the Gottman approach. Yasman is passionate in opening the doors of communication between loved ones and helping them rebuild strong relationships in an emotionally safe environment. Fluent in both English and Farsi, Yasman always takes ethnic and cultural backgrounds into consideration when working with her clients.

Ashley Clark, M.S., LPC
Ashley Clark is a highly competent, hardworking and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor who is dedicated to providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples. She received her Master’s Degree from University of Houston Clear Lake in 2012. Ashley is skilled in various areas of mental health, including depression, anxiety, self mutilation, eating disorders, addiction, pre-marital issues, grief, family issues, PTSD, anger and behavioral issues, and difficulties related to psychological disorders. Ashley has had further training in the area of play therapy, and she has completed advanced training for couples therapy using The Gottman Method. She is also a member of Texas Counseling Association.
Brandi Tarver, M.A., LPC, LMFT, CSC
is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and a Certified School Counselor in the state of Texas. She received her master’s degree in Counselor Education from Sam Houston State University in 2007. Her experience includes working with couples, children, adolescents, and families over a wide range of issues including marriage, divorce, separation, single parenting, depression, anxiety, and helping children learn/choose better behavior choices. She is a Certified Gottman Method Therapist who uses research based methods with couples who wish to learn more productive ways of communication while building marital intimacy. She is able to see clients on Monday through Friday afternoons/evenings. She offers her services in both English and Spanish.
Kristen Chambliss, Ph.D
is a Licensed Psychologist in the state of Texas. She received her doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Texas Tech University in 2008. As part of her post-doctoral graduate training, she worked at the University of Texas Medical Branch through a Women’s Health Fellowship and the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center working with cancer patients and their families. She enjoys helping individuals and couples in the areas of infertility and reproductive health counseling, couples therapy, depression, anxiety, health concerns, and psychological assessment. Dr. Chambliss is a member of the American Psychological Association and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine. She has presented her research at conferences on a variety of health topics, including women’s health, anxiety, and relationships.
